Wedding Music
These are some suggestions for music for various segments of a wedding: Prelude music: As guests are being seated Light & Happy Selections from the Baroque, Classical & Romatic periods such as:
Family Seating and/or Bridesmaids’ Processional
Bride's Processional
Recessional
Light Classical and Baroque
Lighter Popular Classics, or Classic Pops:
Selections of Scott Joplin Rags
Selections from the Beatles
The list goes on and on from here, and even includes Pink Panther and Looney Toons. We have waltzes, polkas and foxtrots, and, as you can tell, we like Gershwin, Cole Porter, well known show tunes, themes and love songs from musicals, and so do most people. It's music most everyone recognizes and even can hum along with, but it doesn't interfere with conversations, just enhances the ambience or mood. For a reception, we pull from all the above repertoire and play "sets" of the different kinds of music. We also pay attention to which music is more pleasing to the guests and try to focus more on that type.
Please Note: These are only a few of our total available selections. If you have a particular favorite that you don’t see on this list, ask us. We may already have it, or could get it in time for your wedding date. We can also provide accompaniment for a vocal soloist if timing allows.
